Our Seld Defense Program is geared for street oriented self-defense.

It combines elements of both Inosanto Jeet Kune Do and Kali, as well as many other arts.

 

Jun Fan is the basic curriculum to understand Jeet Kune Do concepts as taught by the late Sifu Bruce Lee and passed on by Guru Dan Inosanto.

The Kali portion, also known as the Filipino Martial Arts, stresses weaponry and empty-hand techniques from the Filipino Martial Arts creating a program geared towards maximum self-defense and fitness.

 

Our program stresses no-nonsense self defense training in all four ranges of fighting:
• kicking
• punching
• in-fighting (trapping)
• grappling/ground-fighting

 

Students learn stance, footwork, striking techniques, defense, grappling and counter grappling techniques and a variety of training methods designed to develop techniques and improve attributes (speed, power, timing, flexibility, coordination, strength, etc.).
In addition, our program stresses weaponry and empty-hand techniques from Filipino Kali (Double Stick, Single Stick, Knife, Stick and Knife) creating a program geared towards maximum self-defense and fitness.
